OCEAN VIEW CLUB WEDDING HARBOUR ISLAND BAHAMAS // JESS + ZACH.
First plane – second plane – taxi – water taxi – golf cart – finally, I’ve arrived to a beautiful paradise, called Harbour Island in the Bahamas!! As soon as I walked in to the Ocean View Club I fell in love. This charming, family run hotel has so much to offer. You’re surrounded with smiling faces, napping dogs and cats and the smell of the incredible blue “Photoshop look alike” ocean. What’s not to love? For Jess & Zach, it’s so easy to see why they got married here. Harbour Island is a very small island only 3 miles long and 1/2 mile wide and famous for it’s pristine pink sand beaches.
After Jess & Zach exchanged their vows on the terrace facing a beautiful view of the ocean, it was time to get their feet sandy and start the party. A romantic reception on the beach; a tent filled with crisp white tablecloths and lush greenery, made this wedding so unique. Excited to share this one with you! I love these two sweet humans, their love for each other, and their families.
Check out their beautiful rehearsal dinner here.

PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS & TRICKS – HOW SHOULD YOU CHARGE FOR A DESTINATION WEDDING?
It’s easy to imagine excitement of photographing destination weddings, but you have to think about all the additional time and energy that goes into it. As a result, it’s important to carefully itemize the additional travel fees associated with your photography services away from your regular location. Here are the major factors regarding your travel fees:
Airfare.
I always book my own airfare and then I send the receipt to my couple. I don’t have my clients make arrangements for my airfare, because I want to be in control of all the moving pieces (crazy layovers, canceled flights…).
Lodging.
If I’m photographing a destination wedding, I request a hotel room for two nights – the night before and after the wedding.
Transportation.
I prefer a rental car, because I usually travel quite a bit.
HAPPY TRAVELS!
